1. The two workpieces should be welded
Generally speaking, ABS material is the easiest to weld, and nylon or PP material is the most difficult to weld. Some of the different materials can be welded, some can be basically melted, and some are not. The melting point of the same material is the same, which can be welded in principle, but when the melting point of the workpiece to be welded is greater than 350 degrees Celsius, it is not suitable for ultrasonic welding. Because ultrasound can instantly melt the workpiece molecules, the judgment basis is within 3 seconds, and if the welding cannot be well welded, other welding processes should be selected. 2. There are certain requirements for the seam area
When energy is generated, the larger the joint area, the more serious the energy dispersion will be, and the welding effect will be poor or even impossible to weld. Moreover, the ultrasonic wave is transmitted longitudinally, and the energy loss is proportional to the distance. The long-distance welding should be controlled within 6cm. The welding wire should be controlled between 30 and 80 wires, and the wall thickness of the workpiece should not be less than 2mm, otherwise it will not be able to be welded well, especially for products that require air tightness.
3. The output power should be balanced
As long as the ultrasonic transducer is shaped, the maximum power will also be shaped. Therefore, the output power of the ultrasonic welding machine is determined by the material, diameter, thickness, and design process of the same piezoelectric ceramic sheet. The important thing is to measure the output energy. It is also a very complicated process. It is not that the larger the ultrasonic transducer is, the more ultrasonic power tubes are used in the circuit, the greater the output energy, but a particularly complex amplitude measuring instrument is required to accurately measure its amplitude.
4. strict inspection
When regular ultrasonic mold manufacturers donate raw materials, they have a series of rigorous inspection procedures, and even the processing dimensions are processed by computer software simulation and verification. Without reasonable design, the problems and reactions of the produced molds are not very obvious when welding small workpieces, but when the power is high, various problems will appear. bug.
