The heat generation of Ultrasonic Plastic Welding machine is a normal phenomenon, because ultrasonic welding mainly generates heat through vibration and friction, which makes the product parts to be welded melt and riveted. A lot of heat is generated during operation, which dissipates quickly after riveting. However, if the ultrasonic upper die frequently continues to burn, it may indicate a problem with some parts. We need to check the upper die itself, vibrator and ultrasonic power board for problems:
1. The ultrasonic power board does not match the vibrator
The intelligent ultrasonic welding machine is equipped with a power board for controlling parameters such as power supply. When the parameters do not match those required by the vibroseis, the vibroseis will heat up.
2. Ultrasonic molding is normal, but it still burns often
This problem may be caused by the operating environment of the machine. The ultrasonic welding machine should be placed in a ventilated and cool place to ensure that the welding head can dissipate heat in time.
Solution: Place an air tube next to the welding head to help dissipate heat.
3. The ultrasonic upper mold is damaged, and the frequency changes greatly
Long-term use of the ultrasonic upper mold will wear out, and direct contact with the product will cause frequency changes. Or there is a small crack in the upper mold, which causes the current to be too large and the upper mold to heat up.
4. The impedance of the vibrator becomes larger, so that the energy cannot be fully transmitted to the product
The vibrator consists of a transducer and a titanium horn. After prolonged use, the sensor may experience performance degradation (increase in impedance), resulting in reduced energy and power conversion efficiency and burns.
